The Natural Freedom of Human beings and its limits

Question:

There is nothing without a specific purpose in the scheme of the God. All creations have been created by God for a specific purpose, decided ONLY by God. With reference to human beings, any truth that human beings are supposed to know has been revealed to them by God through His prophets, ever since the creation of the first humans i.e. Adam and Eve, peace be upon them. Human souls that have come to this planet earth will never cease to exist. All human beings with their souls are, individually, going through a God planned CONTINUOUS trial during their entire life on this planet earth. The life and living of all the human beings in this mortal world is ONLY a temporary phase leading to a FINAL permanent phase. All the relevant details of the scheme of God for human beings have been very clearly informed to man by the revelations of God to His prophets.

The last prophet was prophet Muhammad pbuh. God, in His scheme, has provided every human being a 'NATURAL freedom' to behave as one may want to during one's life and living in this mortal world. The freedom to one in one's conduct and character has been provided by God to every human being. Without this 'Natural freedom', man CANNOT be evaluated for the conduct and character, the FINAL result of which shall be known to every individual on 'Resurrection' in the life 'Hereafter'. However, if this 'NATURAL freedom' to man is let loose, then perhaps, there would ONLY be chaos and anarchy in the entire mankind, everywhere.

How shall homes, societies/nations and all the systems and organizations exist with such a 'NATURAL FREEDOM' of conduct and character? How do the revelations of God guide regarding this destructive aspect of 'Natural Freedom' if this freedom has no natural limits? If there are NATURAL limits that have been revealed by God, what are they?

Thank you for your assistance. May God bless you all, eternally. Amen.

Answer:

Humankind is given freewill which you have called "natural freedom". You would appreciate that along with our freewill we enjoy the privilege of having an internal mechanism that signals our awareness when we do right or wrong. We term this "Innate Guidance". Hence, humanity is not merely a race of beasts unbridled. We have been given internal restraints that tug at us when we commit evil. Had that not been the case then your scenario for a savage and scourging life would be accurate. Nonetheless, even our natural harnesses need reinforcements. That is where revelations from God come in. The "Revealed Guidance" is a tool in which allows us a relationship with the Almighty at the same time strengthening the internal mechanisms within us. It also helps us sharpen our Innate Guidance in case we allow it to dull.

It should be apparent that we are not limited in any way, in general. We have the freedom to do as we desire, yet our very makeup consists of the knowledge between right and wrong. This is not a limitation but an endowment. Something we should be grateful to the Almighty for; or the dreadful situation you mentioned would have been reality and we would have been no different from animals.

I hope I have clarified the issue
God knows best
